Overview - Generally TCS does not sell “product”. It’s our belief that there are many reputable distributors available to our clients, and another one is simply not needed. It also strikes us as a bit of a conflict of interest when a product distributor sells their own compliance program. However, if distributors want to make a referral to TCS, and TCS then develops its own relationship with the client, opportunities for conflict are few, and, as a matter of fact, just don’t happen.
Maintaining your Compliance Program - Occasionally TCS finds a compliance need that is not met or not economically met by existing distribution channels. Such is the case with Industrial Hygiene Monitoring Badges – for toxic chemicals in the air, and x-ray monitoring badges – to monitor x-ray exposure. While sources of supply do exist, it’s TCS’s position that the market pricing is such that cost will in and of itself become a deterrent to appropriate monitoring practice.
TCS is a strong proponent of IH and x-ray monitoring.
Therefore we have researched sources of supply and made arrangements for our clients to order from these manufacturers at prices usually well below the prices available from distributors. With a low cost of acquisition, it is our hope that clients will use monitoring badges on a regular monitoring program
