OSHA Safety and Risk Management

Total Compliance Solutions, Inc. (TCS) is proud to be the nation's premier provider of outsourced quality, safety, and compliance programs to the healthcare industry. Developed by experts, our TCS/MedSafe® programs, utilizing the AIM methodology (Assess, Implement and Maintain) TCS will provide exactly the services you need, when you need them. You will receive outstanding service from staff members dedicated to keeping you and your staff safe.

Assessment
A complete on-site assessment of your facility utilizing a survey tool developed by safety and compliance professionals. This assessment focuses on applicable health and safety standards promulgated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the United States Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and other regulatory and industry standards. Unlike a government inspection, however, our goal is it to improve your facility prior to loss, fine, legal action or other cost or disciplinary action.

Report of Recommendations
After completing our initial assessment we will provide a formal Report of Recommendations. These recommendations will cite relevant OSHA Standards, CDC Guidelines and other regulatory requirements.

Program Implementation
Our TCS/MedSafe® Safety and Compliance Program includes customized safety manuals based upon the needs of the Assessment and meeting OSHA's requirements for a site specific written Hazard Communication Program and Exposure Control Plan. Also included are a customized Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) Catalog and Inventory containing proper documentation for the products in use at your facility, a Hazardous Material Identification Chart (HMIC) to identifying the potential hazards of products, and the TCS Hazardous Product Labeling System.

Staff Training
One of the most important aspects of a safe working environment, and one of the most difficult for employers to achieve, is annual training of safety regulations and the specific safety training hazards of a an individual workplace, The TCS/MedSafe program (in compliance with OSHA's training requirements under 29 CFR 1910.1200 and 29 CFR 1910.1030) allows for on-site or an internet based online training both approved for Continuing Education Units (CEUs) by major healthcare organizations.

Maintenance
Ongoing program maintenance is provided through updates to manuals and periodic advisory publications as well as through a HOTLINE for your safety and compliance questions. A "Certificate of Completion" issued when your facility has completed implementation of the TCS/MedSafe Program, clearly illustrating to your staff, patients, and regulatory authorities your commitment to a safe and compliant working environment.

MedSafe® Safety and Compliance Program also include:

  • Customized safety manuals designed to meet OSHA's requirement for a site-specific written Hazard Communication Program and Exposure Control Plan.
  • Ongoing updates to manuals and periodic advisory publications as changes to regulations occur.
  • Customized Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) catalog, containing required documentation for hazardous products used by your facility.
  • Labels for hazardous products in secondary containers, filled out for products used by your facility.
  • Hazardous Materials Identification Charts to assist you and your staff to easily identify potential hazards of products.
